Staff Interview: Blue Blue Nagoya
Q1. Why did you want to work at Seilin & Co.?
Before I started, I’d felt that the classical feeling of the clothing and shops of Seilin & Co. as well as the uniquely designed apparel and shop atmospheres that were like no other were very attractive.
For me, as someone who loves clothing, what made me decide to apply for a job here was that I strongly agreed with Seilin’s basic philosophy of aiming to be a lifestyle business that helps everyone seeking their own “smart way of life.”
Q2. What kind of work are you doing now? And when do you feel that the work you do is rewarding?
I work as a sub-manager at Blue Blue Nagoya.
Besides the sales activities and displays at the shop, I’m also involved in store management and human resource development.
What I feel rewarding about my job is the increasing number of customers that I’ve come to know over the years, and not only by helping many of them myself, and also being able to work while feeling that I’m growing together with our staff members and shop.
Q3. Tell us what you’re especially careful about in your work and the sort of thing you’re particular about.
We value our customers and our staff who serve them so we’re careful and attentive about creating a comfortable shop.
I always try to maintain a professional awareness of any small changes in our store.
We work hard every day to create a shop that makes the day pleasant for each and every customer who visits us.
Q4. What kind of message would you give to anyone who might be thinking about working at Seilin & Co.?
This is a company that values individuality, and it’s a place where you can work with passion doing what you like doing and doing what you’re particular about.
There’s a lot of individuality and teamwork happening here, and it’s also a place where a person can learn important lessons about life as well as about clothing.
We look forward to receiving job applications from passionate people who share our ideas at Seilin & Co.
